Documentation

1. Launch wzPASS

Click wzPASS icon in Start Menu.

2. Select the reader

• Click File -> Select reader.
• Select the contactless reader you want to work with.

3. Enter the MRZ

For BAC-protected passports, reading is only possible after authentication using the optical Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) as key.

Enter the content of the MRZ into the edit box.

Note that only the second line is required.

4. Read the passport

Put passport on the reader, and click Read !.

Wait while passport is read (this takes 3 to 10 seconds).

5. Passport is on display !

Content of DG1 (personal information) and DG2 (facial picture) are displayed !

Note that DG12 (containing date of issue and place of issue) DG11 (containing place of birth) are not displayed in this version.
